Anywave is a surf shop located on the island of Paros. It is active in the field of selling clothes and accessories from various brands that are mainly related to surfing and other water sports.
The Request
From shopping items to surf lessons and rentals, everything connected to this brand has to do with the ocean, and the design of the logo had to follow. We were asked to make a distinctive logo that would be easily recognisable and reflect the character of the shop. Anywave’s logo other than the standard brand applications of shop signs, hand bags, cards and packaging, it should be easily and clearly applicable on stencils, t-shirts, stickers, hats or even surfboards.
Our Solution
As a result, we created a logo that not only resembles the sea and the waves, but is also based on the figure of the ancient greek god Poseidon, protector of the seas.
Its purpose to be widely applicable was to be taken under consideration for the shapes, lines, font and most of all colours and its negatives.
Finally, the brand logo was very soon seen all over the island on many different versions of its applications, as more and more people demanded products that depicted their favorite distinctive logo.
