Limewash Paints approached us with the need to design and develop a digital space that could reflect the essence of their brand: natural textures, timeless simplicity, and the tactile beauty of limewash surfaces. The challenge was to capture the handcrafted and organic qualities of their products and translate them into an online experience that feels modern, authentic, and highly functional. Beyond aesthetics, the website had to serve as a practical tool—presenting collections, projects, and detailed product information in a way that was intuitive, accessible, and engaging across devices.
We designed the website with a minimal visual language, balancing generous negative space with a structured grid system to create a calm, elegant environment where content could breathe. The aesthetic direction combined muted tones and understated gradients, highlighting the raw beauty of the limewash products without overshadowing them. Subtle transparencies, depth effects, and delicate overlays introduced materiality into the interface, echoing the textures of the paints themselves.
One of the most impactful UX features we developed was the “Request a Quote” functionality. Professionals can curate personalized collections for each of their projects, adding specific colors and finishes of interest. Directly from these collections, users are able to generate a request form with the exact quantities they require, which is then sent directly to the Limewash Paints team. This functionality mirrors the way architects and designers naturally work—organizing materials by project—and translates it into a digital workflow that feels seamless and efficient. From the very first days after launch, users began adopting this feature intensively, creating multiple lists and submitting detailed requests. This behavior confirmed the relevance of the design approach and validated the decision to place user-centric tools at the heart of the experience.
The result is a website that balances minimalism with character, while offering a practical, professional-grade feature set. By combining visual restraint with thoughtful interaction design, limewashpaints.gr has become more than just a digital catalogue—it has evolved into a collaborative tool that architects and designers rely on daily.
Most importantly, the introduction of the “Request a Quote” collections led to a significant increase in demand for Limewash Paints products. What started as a design solution to simplify workflow quickly became a driver of business growth, demonstrating how user-centered digital experiences can directly translate into tangible results.
